Bill Teeple Studio and Gallery 51 east invite you to their grand openings on Friday, November 9, 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., at 51 E. Broadway.
Gallery 51 East is an elegant small space for the exhibition of select creative images and forms. The inaugural show will feature smaller two- and three-dimensional works by established artists Gillian Brown, Charlotte Cain, Michael Peter Cain, Robert Hoerlein, Will Mentor, Mark Paul Petrick, Lawrence Sheaff, Jim Shrosbree, and Bill Teeple.
The Bill Teeple Studio, a private art-teaching facility that opened in 1998, is characterized by Bill's positive teaching style, which has achieved impressive results with over 150 students. The Studio recently moved to its new expansive, light-filled location at 51 East Broadway. During this grand opening the work of Bill's 60 current students will be on display.
On Friday evening, November 9, come mingle with the artists, view their work, and enjoy refreshments. "The purpose of the new gallery is to showcase the high level of art being produced by well-known artists associated with the Fairfield creative community," says Teeple. "I also want the community to glimpse the fine work that my students are doing."
The gallery and studio are located in the 51 East Broadway Building, central to the block on the north side of Fairfield's square. The best way to the gallery is from the alley of shops next to the building. Enter at the Crest Jewel and take the stairs up to the third floor. The show will run through Saturday, December 22. Gallery hours are from 1:00-3:30 p.m. and 5:00-9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and Saturday 1:00-4:00, or by appointment. For more information, call (641) 469-6252.
